The sampeThe Model 1900 Sample Conditioner accurately delivers a sample to a wide range of gas analyzers. Specifically designed for use with analyzers that measure samples on either a "Cold & Dry" or "Hot & Wet" basis, it is suitable for use with Chemilumenescence, UV-Fluorescence and other measurement technologies.

The Sample Conditioner features special software which controls all system functions, including the addition and/or removal of calibration gas inputs, calibration gas selection, calibration time, and the activation of system fault contacts. The external control of the solenoids for calibration gas inputs isalso possible. The system will also accommodate the integration of the 3 temperature controllers for use with heated sample lines. An integral keyboard provides local operator input for system configuration, calibration, and other functions. A Windows TM 95 based program for remote monitoring and control of the Sample Conditioner is also under development.

The Sample Conditioner is available in two main versions: The Model 1900-A and the Model 1900-B

• The 1900-A utilizes an internal, air driven eductor to draw the sample from the source. The pressure in front of the critical orifice can be kept at a constant value by the electronic control of the driving air supply of the eductor
• The Model 1900-B requires an external pump to draw in the sample. This version is more suitable for mobile applications where only bottled air is available. It also permits the splitting of the undiluted sample within the heated box for delivery over two heated outgoing sample lines, thus preventing cold spots outside the instrument.
